Ok atm I'm writing a new song and I'm using the chorus effect on my cube and I like it.

Soon I'm getting a Vox AC4 and selling my zoom and cube.

So which chorus should I get?

I want to spend as least as possible without being a full cheap skate.

I just want to use it for cleans and also to add something to overdriven tones.

No I live in Northern Ireland I mispelt it its supposed to be Demitri which is Greek for James (i think).

I would rather spend as less as possible so lets say a very max of £100.

TCE Chorus, Fulltone Choralflange, AnalogMan Chorus are all great choices.

The Boss CE-2 would be the lowest I'd go, price-wise.

07 Fender American Deluxe Strat
07 Fender Custom Telecaster
09 Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
09 Fulltone OCD V.4
10 Ibanez WH-10 V.2
09 Splawn SuperStock
10 Jet City JCA-20
97 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

After watching a few vids Im starting to lean towards the small clone due to the fact that it is so popular and is cheaper.

Dude tell me why.

And people don't recommend things that are over my budget.

Thanks to those who were helpful.

You never posted a budget - you just said that you didn't want to be a cheapskate.

As I said, Boss CE-2 would be the ****tiest I'd go without breaking your condition. Anything else is garbage, IMO.

(Yes, the EHX Small Clone is decent, but the reissues aren't anywhere near as good as the old ones)

I did post a budget...

Ok thanks thats great but as a 17 year old with no job I can't really afford to pay over £100 for a chorus pedal when I won't be using THAT much.

Why? Because I own one.

And it is probably the best analog chorus I have played.

Very very very versatile, all kinds of sounds in just one pedal.

Not to mention, the designs are intense.

There are at least 6 CE-2s on ebay right now that are under 110 quid and an AnalogMan Clone Chorus for 78 quid. There's 2 days left, so I figure you might get it for 125 shipped.

Mine was $180 USD, which is about 110 GBP.

Nope, look for a CE-2 on Ebay.

I really would save up and get something better. The AnalogMan Chorus with a depth switch is the best chorus ever, but it costs a lot.

I got lucky on ebay though, and someone else on UG got even luckier and got a stereo model for cheaper.

stay away from Boss' newer chorus pedals. the CE-1 and the CE-2 are the only good ones they put out, IMO.

MXRs Stereo chorus is pretty versatile, but it's not going to sounds nearly as nice as the boutique pedals other people have been suggesting (Analogman and Dr. Scientist FTW). i'd hop on that Analogman chorus now if i were you.

If he can get one, I got the DeltaLabs chorus for pretty cheap, and it's actually pretty good. I bought it on a whim because I needed something that would let me run two amps in stereo. I ended up playing around with it and actually liked it...
