so ive been using sets of GHS Boomer 11 Lows regularly on my ltd viper 200, i swapped them out today and put on some regular Boomer 11's

now i'm experiencing practically complete dead notes on the first 3 frets of the low e thru D and unreasonable plucked open note fret buzz. tried adjusting the bridge and saddles, no go

im wondering how this is even all possible because the boomer Lows only have slightly thicker cores, its not like i was using a thicker gauge. could it be a truss adjustment? maybe the nut is to blame?

my ultimate solution is just to grab another set of Lows and throw those on and see what happens, but im broke until friday.

any insight would be cool
i think you could try a truss rod adjustment.

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"
