I have an boss Ge-7, Which is truly great

But i wanted another 2 pedals

I want an compression sustainer ( from boss)

But i was wondering what should i get for the last pedal

An Noise reduction(boss)

Or an Overdrive pedal (boss)

I have already some noises with only the GE-7

What should i pick??

Or would you guys Rather pick the overdrive pedal and leave the compresser??

(I Only have A Boss GE-7 pedal, for the rest none)

I want to play nice Smooth solo, and maybe some Classic rock Riffs, None metal

Greetz.

I would say get a Digitech Bad Monkey overdrive pedal as Boss ones arn't too hot... And a compression sustainer and noise supressor are only necessary if your amp needs them.

My amp is : Marshall valvestate S80 (they don't make them anymore)
Guitar: Gibson les paul

P.S The amp has actualy cool overdrive and gain in it
So i think i take the compresser

But well you can sure advise me something else then boss.

Thank you

i personaly find my boss compression/sustainer almost useless. there are deffinately better compressors out there. also, there are better AND cheaper OD pedals than the ones boss makes. unless you are dead set on these pedals, i would check out some MXR ones, such as the dynacomp (compressor)

Just get your GE-7 modded. It's a noisy pedal stock. If you want a compressor, look at the Dyna Comp if you're on a budget, like phobiafreak said it's practically useless. Just check to make sure the switch isn't bad before you buy it or that you buy a new one to get the warranty. If you want an OD for cheap, get a Bad Monkey, Boss SD-1 or an Ibanez TS7.
