so im going up in the country in the middle of the Grampians for 2 weeks. I need to practice somehow otherwise i might die . is there anything i can do to practice just a little bit. i've drawn up arpeggios and all kinds of shapes of everything on paper what else can i do?

I like the table idea.

i found a book similar to the width of my neck so i can still practice left hand exercises too.

This actually does help build finger independence if you have no access to an instrument.


But if I were you I'd buy a cheap $50 uke and learn to play it on your trip.

Learn music theory.
Either way you go about it, It's an excellent opportunity to learn it. And you still get better in one aspect of guitar which could be your weak side.

Pen spin with your left hand, amzing how much finger independence you'll get from it, and pens are everywhere these days, plus you can do it in class too, and your teachers can't say anything about it.

try to not play for 2 weeks, and listen to music different from your regular style. It will help you improve when you return, it sounds weird, but it's true...
