hey guys,
i need someone's opinion on doing some experimental recording of hendrix songs on a tele. i'm thinking about using the dirty neck pick up setting. good idea???

The songs i want to cover are: Hey Joe, Purple Haze, Little Wing, and Voodoo Child (Slight Return)

um, why wouldn't that be ok? a guitar is a guitar, and your sound is your sound. Jimi did covers of songs on different guitars than the originals were made with, and so do most people that do covers.

Instead of asking here, why not just go find out how it sounds?
