ok so i have an ibanez s prestige 2170 and a bc rich evil edge mockingbird. ive been thinking about changing the pickups in them. the mockingbird is tuned in c standard or drop a# and i play stuff like in flames or iron maiden detuned on it. on the ibanez i play anything from like green day or metallica to shred stuff. it mainly just needs heavier pickups. So can anyone recommend me some good pickups for one guitar or both that is fairly heavy with pretty high bass and treble?

btw amp is peavey bandit 112

You don't change pickups to get 'heavier', you change pickups to fine tune an already heavy sound...

I'd say get a better amp.

This is correct.

^No, really. The amp is the problem here.
If you REALLY don't want a new amp (despite what we suggest), just get the standard JB/Jazz and some EMG's.

i know the whole get a new amp, but my other guitars get what i need out of them but mainly the ibby sounds a little weak

Then you need to EQ your amp differently for that guitar.
