I'm putting a disclaimer on this, I was asked by a friend, with a good sense of humor, to write the most stereotypical, cliched Pop song I could possibly think of...so here goes

I wanna know where you stand
On the idea of taking my hand
And leading me into this world
All my plans will unfurl
For you to see
What could become of you and me

I wish I could finally land
Get off of this sinking sand
And onto safe stable ground
I won’t believe what I’ll have found
For you to see
A future of you and me

But if you don’t catch it
I will show you
And if you don’t believe it
I’ll convert you
I’ll evince what you want, what I need, what you can’t find
Spin tales of our whole future, family, everything in my mind
Just to get you back on my side

I’m not so in demand
In fact I’m critically panned
By this world we’re in
I hope you can look within
So you can see
A world of only you and me

But if you don’t catch it
I will show you
And if you don’t believe it
I’ll convert you
I’ll evince what you want, what I need, what you can’t find
Spin tales of our whole future, family, everything in my mind
Just to get you back on my side

I may seem just a little bit desperate
But I don’t think you’ll be a regret
Now take this jump with me
Fall through the air, just let it be

But if you don’t catch it
I will show you
And if you don’t believe it
I’ll convert you
I’ll evince what you want, what I need, what you can’t find
Spin tales of our whole future, family, everything in my mind
Just to get you back on my side

.......its sounds like a typical pop song. probably an aboveaverage pop song, but no deeper meaning or anything, u did accomplish the task at hand tho so thats a plus, nice work

Thank you! I wrote it with Hanson and Jimmy Eat World in mind XD

I think it came of sounding rather Hanson-ish if I do say so myself
