I know that I'm a dumb**** for asking but this was always unclear to me. I want to use this amp settings as recommended for opeth:
Amp EQ settings:
Mids: 4:30 o' clock
High:10:30 o'clock
Low: 7 (barely above 0)
Presence: 0
Resonance: 8(barely above 0)

But I don't understand since a knob goes from zero to 10 and when the knob is facing north (exact in the middle, so it would be 5). So how from 0-10 is it when it's 10:30 o' clock? And what does (barely above 0) mean?

Im sorry, I just don't see how you could argue that hardcore isn't metal. That just seems arrogant to me.

Yes, its its own kind of metal, but its still metal.

Its like a clock, when the knob is in the middle position, pointing upwards, that's 12 o'clock.

Think of it as clock. When someone says put the knob to 12 o'clock, the knob should be facing directly up.

so 4:30 o clock would be on 0-10... like 8 is that correct?
