don't think it's harmonic minor, maybe full tone scale? sounded pretty major to me, nonetheless

Considering context I'd guess it's the Mixolydian or Dorian perhaps with an added b5. Not 100% sure.

Db minor pentatonic and Mixolydian mix.

He uses D minor pentatonic and adds in a major 3rd and minor 6th on the lower octave run.

You can't call something a scale based on 3 notes....what you can definitely say is that he's suspending the major third interval from a B chord.

It doesn't matter what scales have it, it's more of a chordal approach.
