Are you gigging? Bedroom play? are your strings dull and feel rough, or sound dull and lack the trebly sound? take all this into account. wiping your strings down after playing always extends the life of your strings aswell. I change my once every 3 weeks or so...

I used to change them once a month, but these days I can't be bothered so they get changed every 4-5 months. I don't play as much as I used to though.

You're = You are
Your = Belongs to you

There = Not here
Their = Belongs to them
They're = They are

wow id say half you guys change your strings way too much.
although every persons sweat destroys strings at a different rate.

In my experience, if you play several hours a day, I'd change them every couple weeks.
Do you feel warm within your cage?

And have you figured out yet -
