My wishlist is currently totaled at £173.83, and because i'm trying to budget my money to save up for a new amp, i'm trying to only spend £15 a month on CDs. It's been 2 months so i have £30 to spend.

Here is the list of albums i want most atm, i've tried to put them into groups.

Queensryche - Empire CD 6.99*

Arcturus - La Masquerade Infernale CD 13.99*
Arcturus - Sham Mirrors CD 9.99*

Yngwie Malmsteen - Rising Force CD 7.99*
Yngwie Malmsteen - Odyssey CD 7.99 *

Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt2: SFAM CD 7.99
Dream Theater - Images & Words CD 7.99*

King Diamond - Puppet Master CD 13.99
King Diamond - Spiders Lullabye CD 13.99*

Necrophagist - Onset Of Putrefaction CD 9.99*

Death - Individual Thought Patterns CD 7.99*
Death - Human: Digipack: Ltd CD 12.99*

Children Of Bodom - Hatebreeder CD 9.99
Children Of Bodom - Follow The Reaper CD 9.99
Children Of Bodom - Hate Crew Deathroll CD 7.99*

Carcass - Heartwork CD 9.99 *

Gorgoroth: Black Mass Krakow 2004 DVD 13.99*

i can only a few of those and i wan't some help choosing. do some of them get boring quickly? are some of them a huge letdown (i haven't heard all the tracks on the albums marked*)? Is one of them a necessity to my collection - aka a masterpeice?

thanks

EDIT: preferably only one album from each artist

Hate crew deathroll is my most favourite album of all time. BUY IT

For the other CD... well I'd get another Bodom one lol. But for a bit more variation, get a DT one.

Zilla: Fatboy 2x12

SM = LMI

i.e. Get them both; nothing more, nothing less.

Rising force, Hatebreeder and Death would be well worth your while.

But get them off ebay you idiot, they'll be way cheaper.

I could get like five of those albums for less than £30 for like 10 minutes of searching.

Get at least one of the Yngwies. If you buy one of those you will probably buy the other one later. The two you have listed are his best imo.

I'd get the 3 COB albums, but as you want variation...
Hate Crew Deathroll, a DT one and Heartwork by Carcass.

Arcturus - Sham Mirrors
Necrophagist - Epitaph
Dream Theater - Scenes from a Memory

Anyone who disagrees should impale themselves on kitchen utensils.

Fixed. Can I just be lightly prodded with a teaspoon or something?

I was going on his list he gave.
If Epitaph was on it, I would agree with you.

Good, I'll keep the cutlery in the drawer.

Catchy songs >>> collections of riffs.

Don't get Necrophagist, you'll regret that.

ok, i'm thinking Arcturus - La Masquerade Infernale, Dream Theater - MP2SFAM and Necrophagist - OoP because apparently they are the best there and i don't mind stretching my budgte 2 quid. I'll probably buy the other Arcturus and DT album next month

EDIT:if theres a band with albums not lsited its either because i don't like the albums or i already own them, for instance i already have epitaph, necrophagist are my favourite band and hmv has free shipping, and comes in a few days. amazon seems to take weeks for something to ship to me.

Personally, I think you should get The Sham Mirrors first. It's probably their best work.

well, of the songs i've heard my favourites are alone, master of disguise and the chaos path. although if your sure i wouldn't mind saving a bit of money. I will hold you personally responsible if its bad - not that i can do much because your probably bigger and scarier than i am

thanks, i'll be ordering once i've shoved some more money in my account tomorrow

also, i don't know what it is about black dahlia, but i just don't like any of the songs i've heard of theirs
