Hi all,

I was wondering, do any well known players or just people on here in general play with the side edges of their picks instead of the tip?

I prefer using the side because my my speed's (and oddly clarity) is alot better than using the tip of the pick (I find my grip when using the tip really uncomfortable because my arm starts to become tense when I play faster with the tip, and alot of you could probably say I'm picking wrong but it works best for me )

maybe you should try using a thicker pick.

But I guess it doesn't really matter, as long as its working for you.

Do you mean that you are picking with your pick at an angle? Or that you are holding the pick in such a way that the tip is covered and the edge is what sticks out from between your fingers?

The edge is what sticks out between my fingers, and I hold it at a slight angle

I use stiffo Jazz III's (I'm gonna probably switch to the XL ones though) and they're thick enough for me
