To be swift;

I want a new set of pickups that retain a nice classic strat tone like I have now, but are clearer with distortion. I'm up for anything and I'd like noiseless, but if the tone loss is as extreme as people say I'm find overlooking them since I mainly use positions 2 and 4 anyway. I'm currently thinking Lace Hot Golds, but I wanted UG's thoughts.

The Jeff Beck signature set sounds awesome. I also like the vintage pickups, but given the chance to choose again I'd probably go with the Beck pickups.
PRS SAS or Gibson LP Standard+
Teese WOF->Analogman Sunlion->Dr. Scientist Elements->Foxrox Aquavibe->Strymon Timeline->Eventide Space
Mesa RoadKing II and 2 Vox AC15s run in stereo

Referring to the Fender Hot Noiseless pickups or the Lace Red-Silver-Blue set?
