This man knows what he's saying.

I play metal, and I play through a cheap bass amp, but I plan on getting a new amp for Christmas, so I'll worry about that later.

Also, I'm looking for a more "br00tal" V, like the sharper ones, not the ones with rounded edges.

EDIT:

the pickups could be swapped over time for something to suit w/e you're playing style is.

same goes for this one. this one's a little cheaper so you could get better pickups right off the bat.

Other than blocking the trem, is there a way to replace it with a stoptail?

Like on the Ibanez MT sigs, it's a trem, but it's like bolted down to the guitar, is there anyway to do this?

It's not really a trem bolted down, it's just the shape of the top of an edge III trem mounted like a TOM bridge. So there's no bar etc below. I think

It's still part of it. I wouldn't buy a guitar that felt and sounded perfect, if it was bright pink and shaped like a giant flower

I think the Epiphone in yellow looks great. Ever heard of Albert King? You can find a used Gibson faded V for under 500. I though about the Epiphone too but it would need a pickup upgrade and that would make it less of a bargain.
