Looking to buy a new amp when i get my new guitar, probably a mex hss strat, idk what kind of amp to get.

*i play a broad spectrum, acdc-bullet for my valentine- the academy is...-slayer sometimes.

*effects are cool, but i dont like to make my guitar sound liek a piano if it compromises tonal properties.

*gain is a must, i dont want a preset overdrive channel.

*300 and less would be nice, ill flex a little depending on the deal i got on the strat.

*minimum 25 watts, maybe bigger, but no full stacks!!

I think black doom death metal is just plain stupid. go flame on me but i can't hear nothing but shit on those songs with everything in drop A or below. also it could've been without lyrics as you'd never hear them anyway.

I'd say pretty much anything by Peavey or Vox would do quite nicely. You may end up paying more for it, but when it comes to amps you really do get what you pay for.

I'd reccomend saving a little bit more for your amp. When it comes to electric guitar it's a good rule of thumb to spend more on your amp than your guitar.

EDIT:
If not, Vox VT30 + Footswitch (Trust me, the footswitch is a must if you're in a band).
