Hi, in my band my primary guitar is an Epiphone Dot. But in my set I have a cover of the song in my time of dying which I play in E A E A C# E. So instead of getting a new guitar I thought I would do up my old guitar and use it for ths song. My guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul 100. So far I have done it up cosmeticaly by stripping the paint off and changing the hardware. But what pickup should I have? Seeing as it is with a slide I want something that would work well with that. I was thinking maybe a Gibson of somekind but I'm not sure, something quite bright anyway. I'm only replacing the bridge because I don't really use my neck pickup so budget for the bridge pickup is around £100.
Thanks in advance, Dave.
