So, the other day was august 23rd blink show here in Toronto, and i had VIP tickets which cost 250 dollars EACH. i bought one for myself and one for my girlfriend, and my friend derek bought one too. so in total, we spent 750 dollars on tickets alone. when we got to the show, we waited in line to be checked by security and they eventually frisked us, finding nothing illegal or anything that we shouldnt bring into the show.

after this, we made our way to the floor, when a different security guard stopped me and told me i had to put my chain on my wallet in my pocket. i asked her if i really had to and she looked at the security guard beside her, and he told me i had to go to the security tent and check it in. Derek, Carling and i then started walking away and i put the chain in my pocket, not expecting anyone to be following us, but apparently we were wrong, because the second security guard then hauled me over to the security tent to check in my lone wallet.

i was not happy about this, as would anyone else, because it was only my wallet with all my identification and money in it, so i asked if there was anything else i could do and they said i could throw the chain in the garbage, which i decided to do. as i threw the chain out, i said "this is ****ed," which was apparently was the wrong thing to say, because i was then banned from the molson ampletheatre.

i was told to get everything i had and leave. instead of leaving right away, i clearly tried to talk to the security guards because i really didnt want to throw away all that money spent, but all they did was tell me to "get the **** out." thats right, i was thrown out of the concert for saying "****" but they can turn around and tell me to **** off.

as i was getting my stuff, i pulled out my ticket to show them that yes, in fact, i was a VIP and had spent $250 to get in. the second i pulled out the ticket, another security guard took the ticket out of my hand, ripped it in half, and wrote "EJECTED" on both halves of my now ripped, $250 piece of garbage. the two people i was with were forced to leave as well because they argued on my side. so lets recap.

my $250 ticket = garbage
carlings $250 ticket = garbage
dereks $250 ticket =garbage

all because i said the "f" word..
at a blink-182 concert...

rigghhtt.
so, what do you think i should do?
ive been contemplating writing a letter to livenation, who put on the concert, to the molson ampletheatre, and to the newspapers. anybody have any idea of what i can do?

thanks, Derek.

What are you doing? Put that thing into paragraphs.

Edit: You didn't get thrown out for say the F word, you got thrown out for being a little dick and causing a scene. Maybe next time you'll behave better.

I somehow doubt you're giving us the full story, kid.

You don't get thrown out of even pop punk shows for swearing. You must have done something to piss them off.

Pretty stupid, I dont care much for blink 182, and molson ampitheatre, you live in ontario aswell! Fellow canadian.

I'd say complain or something, 250 bucks for blink 182? Thats alot, complain.

Francium evidently.. the security guards were physicists and were offended by the use of chemical elements in their presence

but TS, If you had just removed the shi in the first place, none of that crap would have happened.. you've gotta suck security guard dick, and not get angry, it'll get you nowhere, as you can now see.
"You're a twat!"- That dude in morrisons

"You Ugly git!" - That girl in the restaurant

"You Were a Mistake!" - Mum

He means Fred. Clearly the man was sexually abused by a man named Fred and the memory came back to haunt him at that moment.

Well one of my friends has like this weird aura.

Let me explain it like this.

If I went up to a person and said "**** you", the person would say "**** you too" but if my friend did it they would just slam the **** out of him because he just has such a provokative way of saying things.

Maybe TS is like this.

Contact the band/the venue manager and complain. What's the big deal about your wallet anyway?

$250 for Blink 182 tickets? Wow. I'd rather buy $250 in picks instead.

Was thinking this.

But still if thats the true story definately complain, I may believe 250 is to much money for pretty much any concert for any band, you did pay it, and they screwed you over for very minor reason.

I mean if you where carrying a knife or something I can see why they'd kick you out.
#37
Two hundred and fifty dollars.... for blink 182?

You totally deserved that.
Dear God, do you actually answer prayers?

Yes, but only in a way indistinguishable from random luck or the result of your own efforts.
#38
dude, the security guards were already pissed they had to listen to blink-182 play, you should have just put the thing away to begin with, you made a big deal out of nothing

This wasn't the right thing to do, but next time just do what the security guard says. Would it really have been that hard to put it in your pocket in the first place? In venues in the UK, you can't have chains, studded belts, wristbands with any kinds of studs and spikes, for "health and safety" reasons. I've been asked a few times to put away chains and such, and it's perfectly reasonable. You should complain about this, but next time just put the chain away. Live and learn.
