That only works on cars with manual transmissions (AKA stick-shift)

While highly dangerous, it does save gas.

I don't even get why you'd do it; drive with the key out of the ignition?!
"You're a twat!"- That dude in morrisons

"You Ugly git!" - That girl in the restaurant

"You Were a Mistake!" - Mum

just a few of my fans..

Due to the way cars with manual transmission are made, you can turn off the engine, put it in neutral and let the car use momentum to move.

When you need to turn the engine on again,. you simply put the car in the gear that is suited for the current speed, and start the engine like you would if it were still.

This takes extreme amounts of pratcice to perfect, and is very, very danegrous.

However, this will NOT work on cars with automatic trans. The steering wheel locks when the engine is off and the keys are out, and unless the car has shift override you can't put it in neutral.

However, I have seen some cars (not sure about all) that you can put the engine in neutral first, then turn the car off and everything works. I've had to do it in my car once when it started freaking out while I was going 80 down the highway.

It was the only task I would undertake...

The steering wheel doesn't lock if you leave the key in the right position.

This is quite a shame.

I know. Thats what i was pointing out. If he would of left them in the right position the steering wheel wouldn't of locked on him.
