Cool case! What's in it?

I will be moving very soon to the one of the towns Godin operates in and I hope to get a job with them. I am not a fan of single coil pups at all but Godin makes a great guitar never the less. Your guitar looks great I would have to put it thru it's paces before I could comment on your guitar but if you like/love it that's all that counts. Congrats on your NGD!

how much was it?

I live in Australia, so it was expensive.

RRP here is AUS$6,000. I got it for AUS$4,499. It's still a lot of money for sure.

My alternative option was a Suhr Pro Series S4. I chose the Godin due to it's availability in Australia - if I didn't buy it now, I mayn't get a chance if they are discontinued due to poor sales (which has happened before ). The Suhr can wait for now.

I have my hum bucker needs filled right now with a Godin LG Signature.

I love the little details, like the outline of a strat pick-guard they've got routed into the body. Looks great! HNGD!

Nah mate. A lot of guitars have a maple top/neck/fretboard. Maple is one of the lighter woods.

The body is made of spruce. Spruce is a wood more commonly used in acoustic guitars. The body itself has 5 resonant chambers - that is, it has hollow parts in it, which of course reduce the weight significantly.

It's a little heavier than my Yamaha Pacifica 112M, but not as heavy as my Godin LG Signature or a Stratocaster.
