I recently hooked up my xbox 360 using the component cable (Green, Blue, and Red). THe picture is ridiculously sharp, but the colors are distorted. Yes, I have an HDTV. It's not the cable, because the component side works fine, and on other TVs. Not the Xbox, because it works with other cables. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

I'm Thinking It's The Tv
I've gotten a lot of LOLs in my time but I choose not to sig them to not look like a pretentious douchebag

Correct order of the component colours when its plugged in? Correct settings on your xbox in the system section? Correct frequency setting(50 or 60Hz?).

Try the settings like where t says 480p,720p,1080p
if that doesnt work tweak the color settings

The switch is in the right position, I'm sure of that. And it's all plugged into the right colors. The TV works fine too.
I've gone through all TV settings, there's nothing to change.

Is it greenish? brownish?
If it's only the color, chances are good that one of the cables isn't in properly, or the TV is having trouble with its inputs.

It's mostly greenish.
Hard to pinpoint actually. I think some colors look fine and some are distorted because my background is mostly grey and it seems to look fine.
I've unplugged and replugged it in many times, and pushed the cables as far in as they'd go, so I doubt it's not in properly

I also believe that this setup is frying my eyes.

My monitor is 24 inches. It's pretty bitchin'

I'd use HDMI (as most people say they're using) but my xbox doesn't have the HDMI output.
My friend works at gamestop and I went to pick up a converter from him but he said they used to sell them, but they stopped because it didn't work.

Yeah, I have the "new" 360 with both outputs.
