Hi,
I would like to buy an elctric-accoustic guitar but don't want to spend too much money...
I was interested with the Fender Sonoran SCE beacause it lseems to be played like a strat, but I'm looking for something cheaper.

I was thinking about the Fender CD 60 CE or the Ibanez V72 ECE.

What do you think ?
Thanks for helping...

Go play them and see Make up your own mind after that, but you can usually get far better acoustic's for the money than Fender or Ibanez. The makes that are good at electrics arent neceserily good at acoustics to

From those two, i'de personally go with the Fender.

But youl find some way better acoustics from different makes!!

btw, the Sonoran SCE felt pretty nice, but sounded REALLY trebly to me. Could have just been that one though.

neither... save a little more and get a Seagull! i own a Fender CD60 and while the sunburst finish looks nice, the action is high so its very hard to play and also other similar priced guitars by different brands sound much better!

OK, but Seagull is really too expensive for me... But thanks a lot anyway !
Any other suggestions ?

Okay, out of all those pages Hagakure just linked, 3 of the sent me to a website in another language and had a picture of a dog on it but yeah, TS, look at some Takamine, Yamaha, Seagull, Alvarez, and some other companies that make almost specifically acoustic guitars (Yes, I realize Yamaha makes more than acoustic guitars, they make just about...everything).

A yamaha FG700 series guitar is about $200. It might be a little pricier than the two you mentioned(not sure), but it's WELL worth the extra money. My friend has a solid top Yamaha from the 1970's and it sounds just beautiful.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ

Well....you reincarnated a dead thread. I hope you are proud of yourself.

For the record: 10 to 1 the Fender Sonoran has already fallen apart
