Hey UG,

Saw this today

What's the deal with having THREE RV-3's ?

Also I didn't wanna make a separate thread for this.

What would be the "correct" order of the following pedals:
Digitech Whammy, Wah and a DD 3 (delay)

I think I've heard you should put the whammy at the start of your chain ?

maybe one for each head ? :S bah but man... Limp bizkit is a pretty gay band, the can do whatever they want, you dont have to care, let the hell does his work

Eh, he's got a lot of money so he's probably just got one set for reverb, one for short delay, and one for long delay. That sort of thing is fairly common in stage rigs.

Whammy usually goes first for tracking purposes. I'd put the delay after the wah so you're not wah-ing the trails of your notes.

Could also possibly be that he has one pedal on the right part of the stage, one in the middle, and one on the left?

I ve seen kirk hammett do that sometimes...a wah on one side and a wah on the other side, so he can use either depending on where he is on the stage.

Kirk Hammett should just build a wah into his goddam shoes.

Yes, but that is irrelevant at the moment

ph-2 and phase 90?

I'm totally down for 2 phasers, but if I we're in a touring band like that I would definitely have something nicer.
I have a huge fear if rays.

More importantly, why 3 of each amp? 2 I understand, safety and all that, but 3? Any good reason other than gearlust-triggered insanity?

With pedals you can throw your guitar down for an impromptu pedal drone solo, whereas if you did that on a rack it would just look like you were programming your washing machine.

He probably has one head in each cab cranked up for more stage volume.

To be fair, you could really mess a guy up with a telecaster if you were determined to bring the plane down.

Or put the delay before the Whammy and whammy the trails
