I have a cheap no-name 15W solid-state amp that comes with those starter packs. It's just sitting in my room gathering dust and getting rained on if the window's open. :P

Anyways, does the amp have anything that I could use or should I chuck it?

if it still works good then try and give it (or sell it if your really desperate) to another noob trying to learn electric guitar.

or you could be like me and use it as a practice mod amp. as in...opening it up and seeing how it works or what you could modify on the inside. since its not gonna bother you if you mess it up anyway.

Interesting deduction. That was my original intention.
ME:
Well don't.
GOD:
Well that's okay. OK I will not.

dunno about mods, but +1 on passing gear around. i have given away 3 practice amps to beginners and other people in need of them. and they are good to have around for extra's when a friend comes over and doesn't have an amp.
