i broke a string on my rr3 and ordered replacement strings. i was planning on dropping it to drop c anyway so i got the correct gauge for that. when i strung it today my action was ****ed and i ended upstriping the spring screws in the back! **** MY LIFE. is this fixable?
step away from your guitar. take it to a luthier. can be fixed, might not be cheap.
It is fixable. If it is really badly stripped you may need to drill out the screw. If the threading is really mangled, you may need to put some wood filler and re-tap or redrill a new hole.
Just remove the screws and use wood glue (yellow) and tooth picks to fill the holes, predrill and re screw.
