How much would t cost for me to turn my Marshall JCM-800 head volume to go up to eleven? Ten doesn't seem to cut it for me. It needs to be one louder.

And I thought my classic 30 was cool for going up to 12

Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

I'm not sure if this is even a real question, but I'll give a somewhat real answer.

Change to more efficient power tubes, such as the KT77. It may make your amp noticeably louder, but it will definetly give you more headroom. You may need to change out a resistor or two, but I doubt it. Just adjust your bias for the new tubes.

Or

Just use a sharpie.
