Hello sexy peoplez of UG
Can someone please tell me what the main differences between a Bogner Uberschall and a Bogner Shiva are?
Thank you

That thread says nothing about the differences of a Shiva and an Uberschall

The Uberschall is a high gain amp, specifically aimed at metal and hardrock players.

The Shiva is a lower gain amp (though it does still have a lot on tap) that is more Marshally sounding and has a great clean channel as well.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

Oh, reread the thread again.

My bad, it was commenting on the Uberschall and Ecstacy.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

I love both, but I love Bogners in general (yes, even the Alchemist). Shivas are a bit more Marshall voiced, like MatrixClaw said, and imo are much more versatile than the Uberschall. The Uberschall has a sweet tone for metal, but always sounds "pissed off". Not really that versatile.

Ubers make can make this cool pig grunt sound that only it can seem to make.
