Although it's marketed as a rock amp, I find it's great for metal. It responds very well to a boost and depending on your guitar can do fine without one. It's very loud and if you got an extension cab for it, it would be ideal for gigging. I normally use just the clean and high gain channels, but hte soft lead and crunch channels also sound great for styles inbetween.

Specs:
4 channels, Clean, Crunch, Soft Lead, Heavy Lead, single 3 band EQ,
50w poweramp, footswitchable master volume control
Footswitchable Spring Reverb
Celestion V30

I'm selling it because it's not getting enough use and I'm wanting to downsize
