Supermarket Song - Leftover Crack (Citizen Fish)

I Will Survive - Snuff
Stand By Me - Pennywise
Build Me Up Buttercup - The Goops

Wash Away by Alkaline Trio. The original artist was TSOL.
I hated the original, but the cover kicks ass.

Then maybe you should move to the correct forum for your musical tastes.

i like the original, but i'll agree that the alkaline trio version kicks ass, and is played better.

TSOL did play it way better in their live footage in Suburbia

flagpole sitta-chiodos(harvey danger)
the next ones are more metal than punk

IMO there's no need to talk down to people for posting in the wrong forum when they aren't doing any harm.

Went to see New found glory on tuesday and they done an impromptu cover of basket case, that was pretty cool. Would have to say my favourite is the streetlight manifesto cover of nofx's linoleum

really, i wasn't being condescending, i just think he's slightly confused

and where might this cover of linoleum be? tell me, or i'll do something drastic.

X's cover of "Soul Kitchen" (by The Doors) rocks. The Ramones' cover of "Do You Wanna Dance" (Beach Boys) is one of my favorite songs on Rocket to Russia. And "Soul Kitchen" is actually one of my favorites off Los Angeles, too.

oh yeah, just to clarify on the LoC cover of supermarket song, i haven't heard the original yet and i really only listen to the beginning. i like the tongue roll he does before saying "stock exchange"

Propagandhi's cover of Come to the Sabbat by Black Widow and Terium Non Detur (i forget who it was originally by, and i know the original has a different title)

Citizen Fish's cover of Money (better than the original)

Pixies' cover of Head On (not really punk, but heavily influenced by it)

EDIT: I like Leftover Crack but i admit they're cover of Supermarket Song was pretty bad.

The Clash's cover of Police and Thieves by Junior Murvin will always be my favorite.
My style is impetuous.
My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious.

I want to eat your children.

i love you, but minor throat? really?

Well ... that was the best song they have played in my opinion. Comparing to their own songs. And they played that cover pretty decent because their guitarist/scream vocals was singing the song.

Also I wish Lars never tried to cover Sham.

anyone here hear the big d cover of little bitch by the specials? not bad, but not as good as the original.

Leftover Crack's cover of Gang Control, by Morning Glory. And I am well aware of the difference in members.

Duane Peters and the Hunns Cover of AC DC's Back in Black.
Filth's cover of Banned from the Pubs.
as much as I dislike new AFI, AFI did an awesome job coverering today's lesson by Filth.
Nausea covering Discharge (ain't no feeble bastard/hear nothing, see nothing, say nothing).
Social Distortion - Ring of Fire.

Yeah, it is pretty good. You're right though, the original is better.

spunge done some excellent covers on 'That Should Cover It'; Oliver's Army, Centerfold, 500 Miles...

The Flatliners recently did a cover of Johnny Cash's Cry, Cry, Cry which is good aswell.
let these flat chords just break your heart...
