Hey. I was recently trying to learn Ticks and Leeches by Tool (link to song for referance for those who don'tknow the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RelR85j09XY&feature=related), but I was having trouble with the intro (this is for the guitar part). When it builds up and then you have that feedback, I can't seem to get it.

I know I can't get it exactly like the guitar in the song, but I can't even attempt to get it. I can't get the feedback when I want to. People have suggested to me to use a whammy bar, however my Guitar doesn't support a whammy bar. I have been using a Wah Pedal in the Toe position, wiggling it a tad bit to get some feedback, but I can't control it. For another example of controlling feedback hre is sober by the same band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqmRDV0a_70 The intro again has an amazng control over the feedback for the guitar. I want to know how to do that.

As for the second part o this thread, sound. Notice is the first song, ticks and Leeches, after the fade-in, then feedback for a second and then finally the pick scrape, the guita part is really squely. I know the guitarhas a delay on it, but I can't seem to figure out why it is so squeley. I've tried a few different sound effects, including some slight pinch harmoics, but its not want I'm looking for. Again, can I get some help?

Sorry for the nubby sounding questions, I am a little new to guitar.
