Hey UG

I have recently bought a ibanez rgr421exfm and its second hand now theres like marks in the fret board which sorta goes in to the guitar. But i heard that lots of guitars have them. Now i have used redland guitar polish on the fret board and it looks like more have come or could it just be that it has brought them out more?
