I just got my stealthplug today and already it's having problems.
I go to install the main stealthplug part, and it does the first bit fine before a window opens saying "Erorr, the setup as has failed, whether cancelled or not"

I'm hoping somebody might know what's up and what to do...
Then they made me their chief..which was nice.

Right thats it...bugger off.

You think you got problems? I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit final and I can't get anything to work right. Last time I do this "ahead of the curve" thing, that's for sure.

if it doesnt say that it works with vista on the box, it probably wont
just use it on an older pc running vista or return it and get somethin that will run on vista (guitar rig mobile??)

go to your CD, find the executable that starts the setup then choose "run as administrator"

I only have vista.
It says it works with Vista, on the site and the manual.
I don't have an 'older pc running vista', I have a laptop because I'm going to university, HENCE me needing a stealthplug..

i don't know if this'll work for you, but it does with some programs

1. right-click the icon
2. go to properties
3. click the compatibility tab
4. check the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for"
5. select "Windows XP service pack 2" or the latest one they have
6. then run the program like normal

like i said, it may work, it may not. it worked when i was trying to install these drivers i had for my camera (sony didn't make drivers for vista so i installed the XP ones)

Tried that aswell ^^

Still the same error window.
I accept the license agreement, windows configures setup, but then it just cancels....

I've found out why, urgh. It's because I have windows vista 64 bit, and no IK products work with it.

Better get a Line 6 TonePort then

Search around the internet as well, IK may have an update out for x64, I find it very weird that it doesn't work with Vista x64, when Line 6's products have worked with it for around a year I'd say.

I had the SAME problem. I guess you can only install it on your old computer or on a mac. There is no solution at the time being. Its not Vista's fault; its Stealthplug's.
