First off, hell to everyone on the forums. this is my first post, but i have to share this.

my rig:

Bugera 333XL 120W head
Bogner Alchemist 40/20W head
Bugera XL Cab
*BOTH AMPS RUN STEREO INTO THE CAB*

Ernie Ball Musicman John Petrucci JP6 w/piezo (mystic dream)
monster cables
Maxon OD9
Boss NS2 noise suppresor
*signal chain split at noise suppressor*

i managed to balance the levels of both amps running into the cab and i have to say, EL34 punch and 6L6 clarity combined sounds pretty unbelieveable!!! sounds a lot alng the lines of a Rivera Knucklehead Tre. no worries, i will post a vid very soon!

Also, from this thread title, I was expecting you to be showing off your MG or Spider, I am disappoint.

Hey mate,

Sounds awesome, would love to hear some decent clips.

I had a similar idea in mind. Did you have any trouble with running the 2 heads into the stereo cab?

I believe the tone he linked was his preliminary tone where the good tone will later appear in a video involving both heads running stereo.

Wow if I would have known people on this site were like this then I wouldn't have bothered. I appreciate the input about my initial tone but I didn't exactly mic the cab with a 57 or e609; it is the mic on my digital camera so its going to sound a little thin.

I'm still waiting for clips or a video of them in stereo. And we're not mean, your initial post was just not nice........

Not nice? It was just a post of my newest rig. It sounds really awesome and I wanted to share it. Sorry for not having a vid yet, my drummer has my camera. Maybe ill mic it up with my 609 and record into pro tools so you can get the full sound. I love the way it sounds now. I don't have to push the gain on either amp very hard thanks to the OD9 so it sounds very clear, thick and crunchy as well as having great harmonics. It was an experiment originally but the 2 different amp voicings really complement each other.

Ummm I think this is what got everybody riled up......

But I'm actually intrigued by the idea of having a 6L6 and EL84 amp run in stereo. Should sound pretty cool. I'll wait for videos.

Yeah...talking about your amazing stereo rig and tone, and then not posting a vid is like cold water on a hard penis.

If you're looking for feedback on your tones though, tone testing thread V2 would be the place.

(I'll be there )

I generally don't see how this is worth a thread, If anything, put it in the tone testing thread.

I thought the YouTube vid links were cool. I enjoy seeing/hearing other UG members play. At least the TS had the balls to do demos at all. I thought that the tone was actually a decent metal tone, but like he said, you record with one of those crappy little mics & it'll affect the final tone a lot. I bet even the first rig sounded pretty decent with your head right in front of the cab, but I AM looking forward to hearing clips of the updated rig.
Keep posting clips/vids!!
