My favorite song to play is (with Pick) Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd, or (without pick) You've got a Friend by James Taylor (still learning it a bit, but oh well), I think.

obeythepenguin is right. I reckon that acoustic tracks need soul (like White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Wish You Were Here, etc). In my humble opinion, prog rock and alternative bands with an acoustic track on their latest album just to attempt to create a balance in the songs do not compare to the likes of Led Zeppelin etc. Stanley Myers' 'Catavina' (The Deer Hunter OST) is another beautiful acoustic/classical track.
