My friend is coming over tomorrow with his C diatonic harmonica. I would like to jam with him but I dont know eny blues rhythm chord progressions.
I need suggestions, what chord progressions should I play and in which key do they have to be if he has C harmonica?

learn some music theory then you'll understand what I IV V means.

in the key of C, I IV V means playing the 1st, 4th and 5th chords of the key of C which are C, F and G. blues uses 7th chords so you will want to use C7, F7 and G7.

as for actual songs go with whatever blues songs you like/want.

If you want to play it "straight" then you play in the key of C for a C harmonica. But if you want to play with a bluesy attitude as most harmonica players do, you'll want to be in the key of G for his C harmonica.
