The ground wire on one of my guitars came loose, and I can't fix it to save my life. The problem I'm having is getting the solder to stick to the Kahler bridge. I can get it to stick for a while, but it always comes loose when I try and put the bridge back into the cavity. Any advice?
Try heatin it up for a little longer so the solder gets hotter, tht usually works for me.

rough the surface up a little so it isn't so smooth and slick, the solder will hold better.
i used to be a mod, then i took an arrow in the knee.
Those are both pretty good ideas. I'll give that a shot. It's weird, it came loose so easily when I removed the bridge to oil it a bit, but it seems like it managed to hold up fine for the 25 or so years before I bought it. Ah well.
