does anyone use this pickup? Im looking to replace the dimarzio norotn in my guitar. it sounds great but it has too much bass for my amp and it makes everything sound a little too high gain for my taste

I read that the custom custom is best used in bright guitars but i have a bright amp anyway. Will this pickup give me more of a vintage sound? or anything else i should look at? I need a dark, moderately hot, but not modern high gain sounding pickup.

First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

I want an amp good for playing hippie tunes. I want it to be an actual amp, not a tube amp.

Might still be kind of bassy, what guitar is it going in and what amp? I don't think the Custom Custom will exactly give you a vintage sound, you might want to try the Pearly Gates.

Or have a word with CorduroyEW and see what he recommends.
