Hey.

Ok so,
I bought a 28" scale Eastwood Sidejack Baritone DLX

It's got two "Vintage EW P-90s" on it.

I'm getting decent tone in all strings except the biggest.
Strings are from #13s to #64s.

But what i'm mostly disappointed about the lack of definition in the sound when I play chords with light distortion. Actually even with a clean signal.

I have a squier strat over there in the corner that can play better chords.

So I'm wondering, is this a pickup thing? Why can't i hear this low string? My amp is alright for bass signal, it's not the amp.

The sound just gets all mixed up and toneless when i play chords that include the lower string. It's pissing me off. lol

SSOOoOOoOoOo.....Humbuckers? Hotrails? Lipsticks? anything else? Help me out i know nothing about pickups.

if you cant hear the low e that pretty much defeats the point doesn't it? Try new strings and if not, then new pickups.

DBZ guitars, love'em. Especially their Les Piccolo model.
