Well that's not very Specific.

I'd say assuming you don't want to spend a lot:

*Epi SG/LP
*Ibanez RG
*Jackson Dinky
*ESP LTD?

We need an amp and budget
The gear:

* Epiphone Les Paul Custom
* Schecter Jeff Loomis Signature 7 String
* Fender Squier P Bass
* Blackstar Stage HT-60
* Original Crybaby
* EHX Small Clone
* Boss DD-3

Budget?
if no then:
Schecter C-1 Hellraiser (got mine for 967 euros) or a gibson les paul (if you really have no limit)
If yes then:
Maybe a Ibanez? The RG-series looks pretty nice. Or maybe a Epiphone les paul?
Good luck

my budget would be anything up to $1500 AU and i have got a epiphone les paul 100 and a behringer vintager 15 watt amp at the moment

In that case you should go for a better amp first. That'll do much more for your tone than a guitar change will.

New amp.
Fender American Special HSS Stratocaster
Ibanez 1987 Roadstar II Deluxe
Yamaha THR10X
Marshall JCM900 SL-X
Ibanez WD-7 Weeping Demon Wah

Sorry for late reply, but I'd say anything bugera or something like a peavey vypyr or roland cube if you don't care for tubes yet.

You like alot of the same music as me and i went for an Epi LP Studio, but epis are hit and miss so try it out first
When you are past the stage of noob, you then become a geek.....

Epiphones are the way forward! <3
