Yes another which guitar or what gear thread from me.

I've decided it'd be nice to buy a new guitar, but unfortunately i can only go as high as £250. As a few of you will know i've been looking at the Vintage V100 because its pretty much an epiphone LP standard.

I play metal but this time im looking for a hard rock sound for Airbourne and The Darkness, it'd still be nice to be able to down tune and play some Alter Bridge and heavier things.

My only requirements are:
-Must be fixed bridge. String through or stop tail, doesnt matter.
-Must be good for down tuning, but also good for rock.
- Must be under £250

Im willing to go used.

Im sure you guys would be able to shed some light

Thanks!

The Washburn X200 Pro is a great model, just in your range and fits your specs.

Seymour Duncans, Grover lockin 18:1 tuners, Buzz Feiten Tuning system....It's a brilliant guitar for the price. Very brilliant.

Looking at the specs you are really not gonna do any better than that for the price

What do you think about the PRS SE's? I've found a couple of cheap ones.
