For example, more stuff like this

"You Ouhta know" By Alanis Morisette

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZ6pFdvnnCA

"Heaven and Hell" by The Who

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVoXozPpPAQ

"One More Astronaut" I Mother Earth

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cZT4vYiMxU

And of course any number of RHCP songs

Stuff like that. I love these basslines... They're usually difficult to play, but I like them better then just bashing out 8th notes for a whole song or something like that. Any suggestions?

As my old guitar teacher once said: Metal really comes from classical music. The only difference is pinch harmonics, double bass, and lyrics about killing goats.

Well, for RHCP songs I like give it away, tel me baby and their version of higher ground for funk.

A good Who song is wont get fooled again. It'll be a challenge, though.
