I've been trying to get a good ska tone like that of Aaron Barrett(Reel Big Fish) with a Line 6 Spider III, and I've had something come a little close but I was wondering if anyone knew a certain tone i could use on the Spider III if possible.

Run a trombone through it. That'll sound like ska.

Everytime I go into the guitar shop and ask for a G-String the shopkeeper always makes that TERRIBLE joke about it not being an underwear shop

So next time I go in I'm gonna ask for a thong

Use a fairly clean model, like the Bassman model, then upstroke.

Just use a twangy clean amp model and you're set, TS.
