It's an Epiphone Les Paul Standard with upgraded gold hardware, new wiring, and Rio Grande Pickups. The neck was smoothed out some, but not to the wood. I got it in a trade for my old RG3EXQM1.

Rio Grandes are a brand, I had never heard of them before the guy that traded with me told me he put them in here, so I looked them up.
They're around the BKP pricerange I think, I may be mixed up on the prices of BKP's.
But they sound so good.
They kill the Duncan Designed's on my Tempest.

Great trade Very nice LP. The upgrades are awesome. When you say the neck was smoothed out what do you mean?

Happy NGD

I'm angry that you got short an Ibanez, but it's hard to fault the acquisition of a new Les Paul.

Oh well, there are always more cheap hard-tail RGs out there - HNGD!

The neck was refinished, and it's still glossy, but it's a smooth fast gloss, not sticky like the usual.

I don't like Wizard II's though, and the thickness of the Les Paul is win to me.
