Well yesterday i went to go pickup a guitar that i found on craigslist for 380$. i got it and got back home to play. i couldnt figure out how to open the case for about 1 hour so i was f'ing pissed.stupid,yes i know lol.well here are some pictures.........








YES!! its a carvin dc200 from 1985!!! its in great condition. It has a original kahler trem. ebony fretboard and this thing is sweet.!!now i know why alot of pros used carvins. the sustain is forever in this thing!

no i just couldnt get the little latches on the side to open.then i found out that you just push and move it.

Nice man. I think you should replace the nobs tho, they kinda look ugly to me. Although they do give it that vintage look.

i was thinking about replacing the knobs,the pickups(tone zone in the bridge,humbucker from hell in the neck)

Hmm I'm thinking of putting a Tone Zone in my Carvin also. Maybe and Air Zone in the neck.

Nice find. I was never big on Carvins I don't know why but, the few I have tried were very nice. The switches might be coil taps. If you send an Email to them they probably will tell you the specs.
