I only really care for the 59's, the rest looks rubbish, especially the mini explorers and LPs.

Epiphone need to makes a 7 string Explorer, and one of with a FR. And EMGs.

the '59 looks promising

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"

You know the prophecy range of guitars last year?

With EMGs, Gibson pickups and Floyds, and extra frets?

They need to do that again, with 7 and 8 strings, baritone scale lengths, Floyds on Explorers etc.

idk about you, biga, but i think its a crime that they put a trem and killswitch on an lp special 2. what do you think? shall we fight the crime?

I dig the Explorer GT. Though realistically it's just a Prophecy Futura without EMG's.

God damn Gibson CEO making Futuras with an Epiphpone name on it... frickin' despicable...

those basses look incredible!... the rest are just meh... still got that fugly Epi headstock and plain look

EDIT: watched the vid... disregard my last statement... the 59' in faded iced tea got me GASsing

The 59' and Tribute both look pretty sexy and seem like they'll kick tonal ass, hopefully they won't be too expensive and I'll actually be able to convince myself to buy one.

Despite my earlier praise of the 59' and Tribute, why is there no new 335-type guitar? It seems like a regular Dot or Sharaton are the best options, I want to see a limited-run deluxe model.

The '59s look promising.

The Graveyard Disciple and the Special II GT look ****ing stupid, as do the mini guitars. The other stuff looks pretty nice.

It looks like the FR they're using is the FR special.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

Matt heafy plays an epi live, well his 7 string anyway!!

Looks really good, all of it really because its showing that Gibson are gonna push Epi abit more as a brand which didnt seem to happen apart from the prophesy range which got a mixed reaction, and even OFRs now on the guitars.

These days most companies mid level guitars are becoming something really nice Quality wise

The '59 and the Tribute are definitely nice. Not as nice as if they had bought back the Elitist series, but it's a solid step in the right direction. The others... I can see the new Special-II GT being something fun for beginners to get. The rest, not so much. I kind of like the idea of the mini guitars, since having a full size neck and electronics on a smaller body sounds good for the purposes of travelling, but you know they're going to be built to the cheapest possible quality which renders them pointless.

The Prophecy series haven't exactly sold terribly well so far. They don't have much reason to make more of them.

I only support Epiphone Seraton II's... I'm intrigued by some models such as last years Les Pauls with 24 frets... Just add a trem and I'd have bought one. I think most of the time when Epiphone shows up with "new" models I get discouraged.

kill yourself

If you want that ****, then go to ESP or Jackson and whine.

This years range far surpasses last year's. I'm going to get the wilshire (Are those covered P90s or is it just me?) The ones out this year are far too expensive (The Reissue) and the regular model has humbuckers.

Also, if the '59 Les Paul doesn't cost a lot I'll get that and try and get a Gary Moore tone with a pickup swap, sell the stock pickups and buy a PRS Hollowbody.

That'd keep me pretty darn happy until I get an Ibanez 1550M from Rich.

I tried it out in store.

Great neck, nice n light, good tuning stability. Overall a good guitar. I didn't but it cause I generally only buy guitars over a grand now.
