Hello, I'm a beginner guitar player and I was wondering what you guys would recommend as a good starter guitar. I mostly want to play Rock, Grunge and Metal. I was currently looking at Ibanez RG120 (http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-RG120-Electric-Guitar?sku=519426), the Douglas WRL 590 NA (http://www.rondomusic.com/WRK590na.html) and the Agile AL-2000 Green Spalted (http://www.rondomusic.com/al-2000greenspalted.html). I currently play a knock-off strat from a company that seems to not exist on the internet. Thank you for your help.

Don't know much about agiles but they ibanez seems good...any decent brand guitar with a humbucker will prolly be a good place to start with the music you want to play....what kind of amp do you have?

Actually if you have a few bucks I know squier and ibanez both make starter packs....with christmas comming up they always have a ton at guitar center....they have a whole hallway full at the one here

I just got back from the music store, Ibanez necks are wayy to small for my sausage fingers. I think I'm gonna go with one of the Agile Les Pauls. I'm on a pretty strict $200 budget but I might wait for the holidays so I can get some Holiday Cash to get something a little more high end. There's no way I'm gonna get a Squier Starter pack btw :P. Thanks yall.
