Boot your PC into safe mode, get rid of your system restore points, run anti-virus software. Defrag HD. Might work.

[quote="'xjosheex :['"]i have no idea what any of this means. When the computer loads up at the beginning, after the Manufacturer's logo appears, press F8, and go into "Safe Mode".

You can use the Defragmentation tool in System Tools in the Start Menu.
Nothing operates in Safe Mode, i.e. Internet, games.

Or you could just find an alternet way to get into the control panel > programs > then start deleting all the unneccesary programs. Another thing is to open up Comand Promp ( CMD ) and put in the correct command that deletes all files!

Since you have no computer knowledge, take it to a store or somewhere and they'll fix it for you.

If all else fails go to a local repair shop and spend some moneys on it, or refer to all above posts that make sense

NO BAD IDEA

Combofix is really powerful. don't use it unless someone who knows what they're doing tells you to.

go to www.geekstogo.com , register, and read the malware guide in the security forum section. If you're not cleared up after, make a thread there.

before you do that, though... www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php Rename the setup file before you save it though.
Rename it when it asks where to save it to. Rename it abc123.exe BEFORE you save the file to your desktop.

Sounds to me like you have a rootkit, probably TDSS or something of that ilk.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

Did you bother reading beyond the first sentence of that site?

Unix based OS = more secure and stable than Windows

add to that the fact that windows is the only OS that the average malware code-kiddies are familiar with. im not an Apple Evangelist by any stretch, but having used both Windows PCs and Macs for studio work, i can safely say i will never buy another windows based PC ever again.

right now on this Mac im rendering down a mix from Logic 9 , typing on UG and buffering up some nasty porn. no security worries. and i can count on the fact that this machine will boot up again flawlessy tomorow.

Do you have any anti-virus software? SpyBot? AVG? Etc.

Tell us this and we can work from there.
