Check out the original song I recorded, A Taste of Blood, first in my profile.

It's definitely metal, not too sure about subgenre.

Recorded guitar parts with my Schecter omen extreme 7 string in drop A. Throught my Line 6 Pod 2, then into Lexicon Alpha rec interface and onto Cubase LE4. And programmed drums with Drumkit From Hell (if you are recording at home like me, you NEED this, it's amazing). And yeah that's my set up.

Hope you like the song.

like the intro, the first riff hits you in the face. the panned guitars need leveling better the right sounds lower. the next few riff along, this is an interesting one sounds like there some travel in it. solo sounds laid back for song of this type. seems you went for whaqt was right for the song, good on ya. slowing down great break down. the guitars are meshing well at this point. this is some good progressive metal. truly impressive.
crit me back?

Pretty damn good work here. The only thing id have to say is the drumming gets repetitive, and the guitar tone could be a little cleaner. Other than that, you got yourself a damn good song <(" < ). What tuning is this in? It sounds like a low B to me, but it could be low C.

very cool song!
The guitar lines are very fluid and the guitar harmonies you used were very nice.
All though the beginning drug in my opinion.
The drums could be more interesting, and it seems kind of trebley, maybe its just my speakers.
Overall, a very nice song!
Keep it up.

Its on a 7 string in Drop A. And yeah I couldn't be bothered too much with the drums tbh.

The beginning drug? What do you mean by that?
