Hello fellow UG members, im in need of your guys opinions and help. My friend picked up the bass but he needs a new amp to keep up with the drums, my vox ad50vt, and my friends fender amp. He has budget around 250 to 300 dollars. He likes all types of music, hardcore, indie, prog. We wanna play gigs, practice and are also willing to buy used. Can you guys recommend a amp that fits what we need.

Epiphone G-400
Ibanez Ar300 (currently not working)

Look for used Peavey amps. They're indestructible, loud, and insanely cheap, not to mention good-sounding. Kustom, Acoustic Control, and Carvin are usually good used deals as well.

You're going to want 200W at the very least, but more is better. Something like this would be great:
