Buy some finish and re-finish it

That's stupid. You don't need to re-finish the whole guitar just to fix a small chip like that, and you can't selectively finish just the chip either.

Guitars get chipped, they get scratched, they get dented. Either live with it, or if it really bugs you, use some nail varnish to lightly cover just the chipped area, if you can get a colour that matches the guitar's body.
