When I bend my high E string pass the third string on the 24th fret, it pops (The sound, not the string) and cuts out. What's up with that? I'm trying to write a solo and i'd like to end it with a high wail. is there any way I can fix that?

Yeah, I've had the problem too, just raise the action a little bit. It has to do with radius of the fingerboard, old Fenders need to have very high action to be able to bend on, while an Ibanez or something with a very flat board can have much lower action.

if you have a tremelo you can divebomb instead

Nah, I play a warlock with no trem, just a wrap around bridge.

Yeh, the string is cutting out when it hits the frets, just raise the action a little or don't bend as hard.
You can call me Aaron.
